In Devarque's dungeons, a wizard plotted escape, sharing a cell with N'aix, a thief cursed with longevity by the Vile Council. The wizard cast Infestation, but his mind was caught in N'aix's madness. N'aix, jarred awake by fresh life, followed the voice to escape, consuming guards along the way. Lifestealer was born, wearing broken shackles as a warning, but inside, a prisoner with two minds: the creature and the Master it pretends to obey.
