Nobody knows where Enigma came from. There are tales and legends, but most are probably false. The truth is that Enigma is a mystery, and his only real biography is a description: he's a universal force, a consumer of worlds. He exists in the void, sometimes solid, sometimes not. A beast between planes. Some stories say he was once a great alchemist who tried to learn the universe's secrets and got cursed for his pride. Others say he's an ancient being of strange gravity, the abyss itself, a voice from the darkness before light. And even older legends claim he's the first collapsed star, a black hole that grew complex and aware, with motives we can't know and power we can't stop, a force of destruction unleashed on existence.
